The Line 6's Pocket POD is a small device that hooks onto your guitar and amp thus adding a huge number of studio-quality sound effects to your jams. "It comes with sonic profiles that simulate the sound of a variety of amps, cabinets, microphones, and even recording studio acoustics. The Pocket POD can also add all sorts of effects like chorus, echo, flanger and tremelo to your melodic stylings." It comes loaded with almost 300 presets that have been programmed by professional musicians from bands like Maroon 5, P.O.D., Dashboard Confessional and 311. when you hook it to your comp you can create your own tone library or download the ones created by guitarists around the world.

Line 6's Pocket POD measures 5″ x 3.5″ x 2 and requires 4 AAA batteries included for 4 to 6 hours of use. Else you can hook it to a 9 Volt DC supply.
