LG has announced the SV420 a second model to its Black and Label handset series which is the successor to the popular Chocolate series. The slider has a shiny metal body and is only 13mm thick. Instead of a joystick to navigate around it has a classy metallic scroll key beneath the 2.2 inch QVGA display which doubles as a mirror. However the touch sensitive MP3 player controls which made the Chocolate phones famous are missing here. The SV420 Shine features a 2 Megapixel camera which feature the world renowed Schneider Kreuznach lens. LG has pumped in 1 GB of memory which is good for 250 MP3 files and a couple of lengthy video files.

LG will be announcing more colors for the Shine in the near future so we can surely expect metallic black, red, pink and so on. It is not known when the SV420 Shine will get a GSM version.
