LG-SU100 a touchscreen phone with Franklin planner
LG Korea has unveiled the SU100 targeted towards business users. The phone is supposedly LG's first business phone and the first in the world to come with a Franklin planner. So what exactly is a Franklin Planner? It is a time management system, consists of a ring binder holding specially designed loose leaf pages. Divided by monthly tabs between the pages and accepting a wide variety of specialized accessories and inserts, the core idea is to consolidate tasks and appointments along with personal records in one place, methodically eliminating floating pieces of paper. It is not all work and no play as the phone's 3 inch OLED touchscreen is bright enough to watch live DMB TV or view snaps and videos taken from the 3 Megapixel camera. Other features include web browser, e-mail client, Bluetooth and an electronic dictionary. The phone will hit South Korea's SK Telecom network later this year.
