LG’s LU4500 is a funky touchscreen FMC enabled mobile phone hitting the Korean market first

LG’s new LU4500 is an FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) enabled handset, which means it’s great for using in any location via a wire (fixed networks) of wireless mobile networks. It’s a touchscreen handset with a 3-inch display and is equipped to handle VOIP calls, supports more memory with microSD cards and is quite the funky phone with its pastel color variations like lime, violet and pink. It also supports Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 and T-DMB. A 3.5mm handsfree jack is also present. LG claims that the LU4500 can deliver up to 150 minutes of calling time and 180 hours of standby time. Its official price has not yet been announced but it’s been estimated to have a price tag in the range of 600,000 KRW ($491) and 700,000 KRW ($573).
