LG have provided us with 22 inches of searing bliss, thanks to the LG W2286L screen. It serves as both, a monitor and a LED HDTV with 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The screen is 20mm thick (read: thin) and supports resolutions of up to 1680 x 1050 pixels. Keeping in mind the current fad of saving mother earth and her resources, the W2286L is said to consume 40% less electricity. Now that’s nice. Other features include automatic brightness, a couple of HDMI ports and sleek stunning looks that we can always expect from LG. All of this and something smart on the pricing front can get LG a golden goose run till competition catches up.

The LG W2286L is set to hit Korean markets anytime soon. There’s also a 24 inch model that may come our way later this year.
