LG offers a Quran Reciting Plasma TV for the Middle East
The Middle East is flooded with marketing offers in the holy month of Ramadan. LG has come out with a Quran reciting large screen LCD that has embedded software, which has all 114 chapters of the holy book and can bookmark 10 pages. The LG TV comes in 42 inch and 50 inch versions with a 160-gigabyte hard disk drive. LG said it decided to offer the Quran reading TV after learning through a survey that many Muslims listened to the Quran via their home theater systems and that ratings for radio broadcasts of the holy book were high.
