LG has given movie-buffs a reason to smile. They are coming out with a monitor that will allow them enjoy movies on their PCs. With their Digital Fine Contrast (DFC) technology, the new monitors boast of 10,000:1 ratio. According to LG, "The monitor offers greater depth when viewing movies, making darks darker and whites whiter. The higher ratio offers greater image clarity and color shading not previously experienced on a computer screen." They have even asked the British public on their favorite 'dark' movies. Psycho was as the darkest movie, Alfred Hitchcock the darkest director, Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins were voted for darkest actress and actor.
