LG has taken some clues from Nokia is all set to launch the "LG Application Store". This online store for mobile phone applications will initially be launched in Asia-Pacific countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and may spread to other parts of the globe by the end of this year. LG however confirmed that there are no plans for a US launch yet. For now, the store will provide 1,400 applications including 100 free programs in 15 languages.
