At the 3GSM Congress in Barcelona LG announced the KE500 slider phone in full shiny metal. The triband GSM phone is an average performer, it lacks 3G but supports EDGE for high speed browsing. It features very easy to use Flash interface and comes with the propreitery XD Engine which power LG's Plasma and LCD TV's to boost clarity of the 2 inch (176 × 220 pixels) LCD supporting 256k colors. The onboard media player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, Real Audio, 3GPP, MPEG-4, H.263 and Real Video formats. You can load up all your favourite songs on a Micro SD card and enjoy playback via the powerful internal speakers. The KE500 has a 2 Megapixel camera with Flash, Bluetooth 2.0 and FM radio.

Pricing and availability of the LG KE500 is not known and I wonder if it will make to the US as it lacks support for the GSM 850 band.
