LG is so inspired by the Nintendo’s Wiimote that it is using that concept for its new series of TVs. It will be called the Magic Motion Remote Control and will feature both the traditional channel and volume buttons, the remote can be pointed at the TV to control on-screen menus and also games. The remote can place a cursor on-screen which can be manipulated by just flicking the wrist. The remote will be on sale next year but LG is still deciding whether to offer it as an optional extra, or bundle it free with high-end TVs.
