LG Electronics has announced the new super multi drive 'GH22' enabling 22x high speed DVD writing. With this new drive you will be able to write 4.7GB data in about 4 minutes 30 seconds on an average. This successor of 20x products has upped its performance by 9%. It also facilitates fast and safe data writing with its 2MB memory and buffer underrun prevention technology. The key features include 'Light Scribe' to decorate disks with images and texts and 'SecureDisc' to enhance security functionality. The drive can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
