Tired of carrying your heavy notebook around here is the LG A1 series of supercompact notebooks which have a footprint of 272×187×22.5mm and weigh a mere 1.05 kgs. Powering this tiny powerhouse is a Intel Core Duo processor along with a GeForce Go 7300 GPU for handling the graphics. The display is 10.6 inches wide and supports a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. Other specs include 1.8 inch 80 GB hard drive and optional Wimax.

The A1 series does have one serious drawback which is the absence of Wi-Fi so you have to get one of those PCMCIA Wi-Fi cards.Pricing and availability of the notebooks is not known yet.
