Leyio a device to share personal information
Leyio has a simple and laughable purpose of sharing personal information. Why in the world would you buy another gadget when you can do the same using your cell phone, USB stick or a simple data CD? If you still want to know Leyio transfers data using UWB (Ultra Wide Band) which has a transfer rate of around 480 Mbits / sec. If it makes up for speed it looses on compatibility as you can only transfer from one Leyio to another. You can access music, movies, business cards, web avatars, bookmarks and Facebook information. The device has 16GB of Flash memory and a fingerprint scanner which provides data access only to the owner. The Leyio goes on sale next month for $240. Probably it will get end up as the Zune.
