Lexus planning hybrid supercar

Lexus is planning a hybrid version of its forthcoming LF-A supercar reports Autocar UK. It will be powered by a 5.0 litre V8 churning out 435 horsepower. It will have a top speed of 200 mph and zipping to 60 mph from 0 in under 4 sseconds. Toyota has decided to opt for the V8 instead of the V10 to closely align the car to F1 standards to capitalize on its major involement in F1 racing. The car is expected to be unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor show.
