We have seen a number of automatic parking solutions but only a few have made it out of the concept stage, one of them is the Lexus Automatic Parking system. CNBC's Phil LeBeau had the chance to test the system on live television last week with the Lexus LS-460 in a real-world setting in Dearborn, Michigan. It was almost perfect except that the ending position only slightly out of line from the other vehicles. However it is not fully automatic as the car doesn't seem to straighten its wheels after moving into position, nor does it nudge forward slightly after pulling in.
