Mega block toy maker Lego sure knows how to win a vote. Aside from being a great provider of colourful blocks of joy, the company has tied up with US based company Digital Blue to produce electronic gadgets for children. On the wish list are cameras, MP3 players, alarm clocks and walkie-talkies. The product is aimed to entice children between the age of 7 and 11 and will be out in the market by the end of the year at a price ranging from 14 pounds to 40 pounds. I somehow get the feeling that, more than growing kids wanting a cool gadget, the product will appeal more to Lego enthusiasts and hobbyists, especially those who are a fan of Lego. It is such a striking idea that the thought of such creativity is appalling. What do you think the toy maker will think of next? Computers? Cars? Homes? You can never tell.
