Kodak sues LG and Samsung over digital imaging patents
In these economic troubled times, LG and Samsung's woe run-eth over. Kodak has gone ahead and sued the two companies for infringing its digital imaging patents. Apparently the patents cover image compression, capture, and storage, as well as previewing video content. News is that other cell phone companies have licensed Kodak's technology for use in their cameraphones, but LG and Samsung have done their own thing. LG and Sammy plan to fight it out.
