In its time, the original Knight Rider series were something I looked forward to on TV as a child. It was one of those things you imagine your model toy car could do in your overly active mind. When the new show was announced it cantilevered my mind and heart into nostalgia mode, I watched the show and was seriously disappointed with the execution. I was optimistic of it being made with some serious 2008ish special effects and jaw dropping sequences. Well the folks at NBC seem happy with the ratings the first show got and has green lighted the first season.

Seems nothing talks sweeter than cash today, all I can say is let us just hope they employ some great writers to inject some panache and style into the extremely wooden and script reading cast.
