Kidnappers beware; the knapsack phone is here
The Knapsack phone comes integrated with the knapsack and provides valuable information in case the child gets lost and also acts as a great preventive measure to prevent kidnappers. The phone has GPS functionality and also a crime prevention buzzer. The buzzer function can be taught to the smalles tkid. All he needs to do is press the emergency button and a loud buzz will attract help from the people around. The phone has 3 large buttons labelled "1" "2" and "3" which can be programmed to dial particular numbers. The parents can at any time request positioning through GPS and it will be delivered to them. The child can dial the preprogrammed numbers by simply pushing the pre-programmed button. If the child is lost, he /she can also send information about his whereabouts by holding down the "0" key. On an associated side note, other than the knapsack phone; the Japs are also experimenting with precise location services for kids. In addition to GPS, they have come out with a system that utilises Bluetooth within the school building to pin point the location of the child. Via Phoneyworld
