Keep Fit with the jOG – S21

jog.jpg In a world where technology helps making everything more convenient for us (read – helps us become lazier!) the new Wii named jOG is sure to make things a little more challenging or gamers. The jOG – S21 is an innovative in-game motion-sensing controller that allows gamers to use their joysticks only if they’re physically jogging. What the device does is measures your steps you take and translates them into movement on screen. So much for relaxing and playing video games!

The device works by connecting your controller via a cable which is in turn attached to your pants. The joG then takes over the joystick input on your Wii or PS2 and thereafter the ability to use the controller’s joystick rests on your ability to jog. So if you want your character to move you have to start physically jogging yourself. This gadget is sure to be the couch-potato gamers’ worst nightmare. To be available in the markets soon, the jOG-S21 will cost $25. Although, I would recommend that if you’re not a jogger try not using this device at a crucial point in the game…unless you want to make it more challenging!
