JVC’s Everio series of camcorders have been around the block and definitely found a comfortable place to set up shop. Their latest offering is the GZ-HD620 camcorder that’s capable of full 1080p-recording from its small neat design form that weighs in at just 270g so users won’t have a problem carrying it around. It’s equipped with a 1920 x 1080 backside illuminated CMOS sensor (Konica Minolta HD lens) and can go up to 30x in the optical zoom department for those times you need to get up close and personal without actually getting up close and personal.

The 120 Gigs of on-board memory ensures you have plenty of space for videos while on vacation or otherwise and just in case that happens to fall short; (I don’t know how) it also accepts microSDHC cards for expanding the memory. It’s also equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD Monitor, Dolby Digital 2 channel audio, USB connectivity via mini USB and an HDMI port for hooking it directly to your HDTV. It’s out in Japan and is priced at about $1,140. Wowee!
