JVC's HP-FXC50 ear canal earphones are been touted as the world's first with a top mount structure. So what is different with this one? Unlike traditional earphones the HP-FXC50 has a Micro HD driver just 5.8mm thick which makes it possible to insert the sound tube in the ear canal. As a result of which the external noise is cut down to a great extend. The earphones provide a frequency response of 10Hz~24,000Hz and sound pressure sensitivity of 103dB/1mW. To be available in three different colors red, black and silver the earphones will go on sale in Japan by early August for 4,000 Yen ($ 40).
