JVC Japan has made an addition Alneo lineup of MP3 players with the C series. The player sports a 1.27 inch wide display support 65,536 colors however it does not support video playback and plays MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC files. It has a voice recorder and can record in WAV or WMA format from line-in as well. Also included is a FM tuner with support for FM recording. The Alneo connects to the host via USB and has a Lithium Ion battery with a a continuous playback time of 19.5 hours.

The JVC Alneo measures 86×44×11.7mm and weighs 49 grams. It will be available from February 3rd in three capacities 512MB, 1GB and 2GB.
