Is Samsung Croix the next iPhone Killer?

The Ultra Smart F700, which can be termed, as the iPhone killer may have to take the backseat. Samsung Croix looks like that it can do the job better. It already won an iF Communication Design Award 2007. Sadly the details are not so clear but we believe that this baby will capture everyone's attention with its sleek interface. The name, which translates to "Cross" in French, supposedly symbolizes the phone's "progressive continuum, as opposed to discrete transmission from one item to another," and flaunts an "intuitive interface through on-screen touch input mapping which supports five different ways of interaction." The big question that crosses our mind is, that is Croix the commercial name given to the SGH-700, or is it some new touch-based platform for an entire range of models.

Hopefully digging a bit deeper will reveal some answers. We are armed with the shovel, so see you in a bit.

The Ultra Smart F700 and the Croix are the same phone, just different names for different markets. Actually Croix is the name of the OS.
