It's not every day that a popular MP3 maker decides to foray into the mobile phone market; it's even more surprising when most companies are trying to stay low in these economically turbulent times. iriver has decided to go all aluminum for its new phone; the device has made its appearance at the CES earlier this year. The phone is made of brushed aluminum and features a large touchscreen along with Wi-Fi connectivity, and embedded access to Bugs Music Service. The phone will feature handwriting recognition and multiple dictionaries are to be included.

There is not much detail out yet but if the initial information is to be believed then the phone may make an appearance by March 9, next year.
