iPod Meltdown on Tokyo Train

ipod.jpg It seems that Apple is in hot water in Japan. Last week, they had to admit that their 1st Generation iPod Nanos can meltdown like the polar ice caps. This week, an iPod literally stopped traffic when it burned out on a Tokyo rush-hour train. Following the recent spate of overheating iPod Nanos, the trade ministry has called for improved safety warnings on Apple products in Japan. According to ministry reports, there have been four cases of minor burns, and a total of 60 meltdown incidents in the land of the rising sun. It sounds like Japanese pop is just too much for Apple technology to handle.

It is unknown what model suffered this most recent meltdown. Apple Japan has refused to comment on the recent explosive activities of their products.
