As if the iPhones haven’t made it into every field (more for their supporting apps rather than the phone), Now, the military has tasted the sweet blood that’s flowing in the network of every growing iPhone apps and has tabbed on one particular one that can make it easier to track and define both friend and foe on the battle field. The application, called the One Force Tracker, and it is capable of showing real-time location feeds on your iPhone. Now lets hope that the battery lasts long enough else the poor soldiers are going to have a hard time finding out who’s where.

The One Force Tracker iPhone application will surely turn some heads across enemy lines. “Among several objectives, Raytheon wants to enable superior situational awareness for war fighters or for police, fire and rescue teams, enabling them to quickly make more informed decisions,” said a Raytheon spokesman.
