Although the first-gen didn't make to the country the gray market provided plenty to the people out there at a nifty Rs 25,000 ($575), as opposed to the current outrageous price of Rs 31,000 ($713) for 8GB and Rs 36,100 ($830) for 16GB of memory space. What's really alarming is that school and college kids had queued up first to lay their hands on this pricey phone.
