A report in Liberty Times, from Taiwan, openly addressed the reason for which we will see a delay in the production of iPads. The discredit goes to Wintek, the touch panel manufacturers for the device. Though Wintek didn’t make any major announcement (that got to our ears), the company has been quite efficient when it comes to supplying Apple with the parts they need.

The good news is that Apple still has April 3rd as the day for the grand apocalypse in the world of tablets. Let’s hope the launch quantities are unaffected.
