Intel's Netbook is official and called 2go PC

intel_netbook.jpg Putting rumors to rest, Intel has finally announced its 2go PC that is being manufactured by PC builder CTL. According to the gripe, this education-oriented budget laptop will feature an Intel Celeron M, a 915GMS graphics chipset, 512MB of included DDR2 memory that is upgradable to 1GB, and the PC features 40GB of storage. Specs also include wireless 802.11b/g connectivity, an 800x600 pixel screen (standard), 1-watt stereo speakers powered by a Realtek ALC6555 audio system. 2 USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connectivity, microphone/headphone connectors, and a built-in SD/MMC card reader are also included.

The CTL will sell the 2go PC for about $400, and will see distribution within two months.
