Intel’s all-new classmate PC design is affordable
Intel have extended their line of Learning Series computers with the new classmate PC that comes in a convertible clamshell design. These low-end PCs are both tough and well designed. It comes with enhanced energy efficiency and better e-reading capabilities with a touchscreen for students to work in a more efficient, smarter way. Inside it, the classmate PC has an Intel Atom processor, 10.1 inch screen (1024x600 pixels), Wi-fi, 3G, GPS and WiMax. It has enough battery power to last 8.5 hours (6 cell battery)
Besides all these goodies the classmate PC has an eReader, a camera application, handwriting recognition in various language and a lot more. The price and availability of the products that will follow this line are yet to be announced.
