Intelligent toothbrush gets High-tech and teaches you how to brush

Remember how mum used to praise you when you did a good job brushing your teeth? Now we have an electronic replacement for you. The next-gen in power-induced toothbrushes is the Triumph with SmartGuide- a toothbrush with a built-in "satnav". What this tech-savvy toothbrush does is that it transmits info by radio frequency to a separate miniature display screen, while you are brushing. It relays back info like where you should clean, for how long, and if you're brushing too hard or not hard enough. The wireless LCD display can be stuck on to the shaving mirror as the electric brush cleans away for precisely two minutes. Tiny microchips and sensors in the brush feed back information to an inbuilt "brain" and the LCD display is divided into 4 sectors, each representing four different sectors of the mouth. As you brush away the plaque and tartar, the display will tell you whether you did a fine job or not.
Triumph with SmartGuide toothbrush doubles up as a clock when not in use. It costs an astounding £140 ($280) and is set to go on sale in Britain from next month. Maybe you need to cancel that trip you were planning, because it’s either that or the dentist-appointment that you will need next.
