What's India known for in the world of tablets? The incredibly cheap Aakash tablet that costs INR 3000. Now, that it doesn't seem cool enough for the high-flying schools in the city, a school named Podar International School sent a circular on December 9th, letting parents know that the iPad 2 will be next in line as an educational device, from the coming academic year.

Now, the iPad 2 costs 13 times more than the Aakash tablet. There are some defiances and some applauding but this seems to be the decision that stands at the end of the day.
