New silicon containing carbon material has been designed by Dow Corning which claims to double the capacity of existing Li-ion batteries. Well, all we have to see is that whether because of this the netbook battery would stand for 16hours or if photographers can take 1000+ photos without opening the back of their camera for replacing the battery or we would be filing this under the heading “Things that could but will never happen”. Well, Dow, take this as a challenge and show the world that you are correct.
