If you’re a smoker, your Mac will suffer
Well they don’t get more specific than this. Apple are finely picking up the pieces from all the rare disasters that users have experienced with Macs. What’s more is that the company is smartly putting off those computer that have gotten spoilt as a result of second hand smoke (what else did you expect? First hand). They simply state that their employees have the right to refuse repairing a Mac that’s got ash or ‘chemical stuff’ on their keyboards. Tall claims, if you ask me. Let’s see how long it works for them.
This whole issue was made public by Consumerist, after a couple of users came up with problems but were not granted the advantage of their warranty since their problems were inflicted on account of smoking.
