Hyundai is looking at incorporating the dual-view LCD technology for its future vehicles. With this new technology the driver and front seat passenger will be able to view different video from one centrally mounted LCD display. As driver checks out the GPS map, the passenger can catch up with some DVD movies. The video seen depends on the viewing angle therefore it won't pose as a distraction to the driver unless he leans over to check out what the passenger is watching.

Hyundai will be putting the dual-view LCD technology in its Grandeur saloons first.
