Huawei Smart Bar is the world's first Android candybar smartphone

Chinese handset maker Huawei has unveiled the world’s first Android candybar smartphone called Smart Bar. Besides the ‘smart’ name, this one packs a bunch of impressive specs like 3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 512MB of RAM, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1and a full-blown numeric keypad. Driven by Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the phone will first arrive in Japan on September 22nd for a price of US$385 equivalent. It will be available in color options of black, white and brown. We hope this one travels the other side of the globe soon.
