The HTC Erato, HTC S420 or whatever you may call it has not shown up but its coveted specs have. They have kept us all curious and excited for a while now. The phone promises to prove worth our expectations as it has a SiRFStar III GPS chipset. What’s more is it supports various UMTS standards so that it can pretty well serve as a quick data transfer means. To top all this there’s a magnificent 1.9 megapixel camera, FM radio receiver, Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD memory expansion card slot. A 400MHz Samsung processor should be driving this one (we guess). All in all it’s a phone for the ones who love convergence of technologies in a single gizmo. As phones start packing just about everything into them, the HTC (Erato) S420 makes a startling move into the market.

The price isn’t known as yet but expect to shell out around $400 for this baby.
