In the section of weird apps (I know there isn’t one but there should be), here’s one that’s sure to be somewhere in the top 20, it’s called ''Honey, it's me!''. The application that was developed for the iPhone by Nabix is for the lonely South Korean men looking for love or something like it. A cute looking 22 year old Korean model, Mina, was used for this ‘video-call’ application that has her saying all kinds of things (100-plus comment) while talking into the camera. She can wish you good night or tell you to eat breakfast amongst other things so that single guys could feel a little less… single. She’s a sort of virtual girlfriend of sorts. Initially the app was free but when the number dropped after a price tag of $1.99 (US) was added on, the developer Kim Yoon-kak of Nubix said that they would go back to being free because ultimately it was about making people feel less lonely. The developers even plan to launch English, Chinese and Japanese versions of the app. The weirdest part would be if two guys had a fight over who Mina likes best.
