Hobby ideas for the iPhone- Pocket Guitar and Spy Cam

iPhone.jpg If you're done with the usual stuff like adding videos and apps, you can explore a new side with the iPhone but tinkering around a little bit. Firstly you can transform it to a guitar by adding a few virtual strings and play it along with your loaded songs. The PocketGuitar (virtual guitar for the iPhone and iPod Touch) has been developed as a Google Code project by a guy called Shinya Kasatani. To install, launch the Installer, choose Sources, and add http://podmap.net/apps to your repositories. Look under the "Toys" category to find PocketGuitar. If music is not your scene and you fancy some crime solving or old-fashioned stalking then prop up the iPhone with Conice's 6 x 18 optical zoom. Catch pictures of the Birds, Bees, and Ex-lovers etc. It's besides the point that the lens adds another 4.69 ounces to your 4.8-ounce iPhone.

Conice's zoom for the iPhone is available at DealExtreme for about $15.
