High tech rescue vehicle to carry more patients
When disasters come whether it is natural or man-made, rescue vehicles are the ones that are used a lot. There is a lot of pressure on the rescue vehicles to carry a lot of patients in a short span of time. So to combat this problem, a hi-tech rescue vehicle has been designed that is capable of carrying up to four patients at a time. It is a new type of double-deck-four-stretcher ‘box-kit’ that can be adapted to fit a range of on and off-road vehicles. The box kit uses high performance materials such as titanium and carbon fiber to be self-supporting and offer weight reductions of up to 50% compared with previous products.
The end result is a self-contained loading and unloading system that is suitable for the off-road vehicles that is needed for rapid access to disaster zones. It is due to start production this year onwards.
