Hermes scarf to support New Orleans rebuilding

To do their part in the rebuilding efforts in New Orleans, Hermès is utilizing one of its most iconic accessories: the silk scarf. The french fashion house has resurected an old scarf design created in May 96 depicting the birth of jazz in New Orleans. Fashioned in three color palettes, the scarves feature over a dozen fine details, including the riverboat “Creole Queen,” and the names of some renowned Bayou musicians: King Olivier, Zutty Singleton, and Kid Ory. 10% of all revenue from the scarf sales will go in building the City Park a 1,500 acre recreational area which features lagoons, an art museum, botanical gardens and a 2.5 mile miniature railway infrastructure.

The silk scarf is available for $ 320.
