Helio Heat with Electrostatic Touchpad

Helio has announced a new addition to its mobile portfolio, an exclusive feature packed Samsung phone. Smooth as glass with a minimalist face and slender silhouette, the phone is available in two colors high-gloss Onyx and shimmering Gold. An interesting feature is a highly responsive exterior electrostatic touchpad with customizable sensitivity (super, high, medium, low) for navigation through a simple finger tap. The slider phone has a 1.99 inch QVGA display with landscape mode, 1.3 Megapixel camera, 136MB of internal memory, Bluetooth and GPS. It supports playback of MP3 and MPEG-4 formats. Offered for the first time by a mobile service, popular websites like Boing Boing, Digg, Metroblogging and Wikipedia can be accessed by users from their mobile phone. The EV-DO phone is positioned just below the Drift.
The Helio Heat is now available for $150.
