Harman Kardon launch Go and Play iPod dock

Another product afflicted with the “iPod” syndrome. Time for the dock creators to realize that’s there is already an overdose of iPod centered products and they should look upon other MP3 player for unveiling their tech and innovative prowess. Harman Kardon grabbed the golden opportunity at IFA, Berlin to give an glorious introduction of its new portable iPod speaker system. With the name of the Harman Kardon Go + Play, the iPod “sound Station lets your iPod sleep after the all day tiring work of keeping you dancing on your favorite tunes…your iPod lies flat on the dock. The unit features a sleek and classy stainless-steel handle, touch volume and mute controls, and an RF remote. The remote controls volume, track selection and iPod menu controls at a range of up to 30 feet, even through walls. It has the winning combination of bi-amped digital amplification, DSP (digital sound processing) and Ridge and Atlas transducers. It needs eight D cell batteries for up to 18 hours of continuous playback.
Optionally you can even use the AC power adapter when at home. Connect your TV to the iPod with the dock’s S-video connection and fetch the big screen glory for the image and video files locked in your iPod. Expect to shell out around $450 in case you are intent on bringing this dock home which will hit stores in November this year.
