EA’s The Sims has got be one of the most popular virtual life/RPG-style games that's out there. The game recently completed 10 years. Wow! A whole decade, that’s quite impressive. The original game made its debut in Feb of 2000. The franchise has even won a bunch of awards. From the dozens of expansion and stuff packs and upgrades to the graphics, the game has been constantly getting better and better it seems over time. It’s one of the best, if not the best-selling PC game out there. Of course it's easily available on almost all platforms and it's even made it's way on to the mobile handset as well making it even more popular. So we’d like to wish those virtual wonders a happy Tenth Birthday and thank them for keeping our, otherwise 'un-exciting' lives a little more colorful. That's said with just a hint of sarcasm though, but with a substantial amount of affection as well.
