Hanwha launches USB powered LCDs

LCDs.JPG Hanwha has come out with new USB powered LCD screens that do not need a power adapter, the UM-710, and UM-730 as they are called feature a resolution of 800x480 with a contrast of 400:1. This is an ideal extension monitor to be used with a UMPC, but sadly, this device only runs on Windows Vista Sp1 and XP SP3 32 bit systems. The UM-730 includes a webcam if it were used as a standalone terminal.

Hanwha will be launching the two screens in Japan by mid December for the approx price of $213.
