Griffin technology is planning the release of their first speaker systems for iPods. The system is basically composed of two devices, the Voyager and the AmpliFi. The AmpliFi (pictured above) is a 2.1 channel non-portable system. It has a well made wooden outside, and is composed of a couple of 2.75” speakers. Also we have a dedicated 5” woofer and port for bass system. Your iPod can also be charged, thanks to the universal iPod charger available on the AmpliFi. A remote and an input jack (for other devices to be plugged in) complete the specs of this system. The Voyager on the other hand is a portable sized system with a multipurpose hard rubber covering that can also be used as a stand when attached to the base of the system. A rechargeable battery makes sure that the device doesn’t run out of charge. Other features include an auxiliary input, a dock connector and an adjustable iPod dock.

Both systems are expected to be out in the first quarter of 2007. The Voyager will cost you $130 where as the AmpliFi will cost $150.
