Google and Cisco to soon rule the Dow Jones index
Seems the days of the banking and automobile industries are numbered, nothing shows the severity of recession more than when the David’s take over the goliaths. Google and Cisco are now the top contenders to join the Dow Jones industrial average if Citigroup and General Motors are booted off. Both Citigroup and General Motors are trading below $2. Other contenders to join the Dow, which has lost 25 percent of its value this year alone, include Goldman Sachs, US Steel, Visa and Apple.
