German’s Interpad tablet with Tegra 2 T20 chip is pricey but packs in the features

Interpad-Tegra-2-toting-Android-tablet.jpg Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor is going to be the silent hero behind quite a few Android powered tablets. The latest being from a company I haven’t heard off called Interpad. They’ve cranked out a tablet that will rival the iPad (who else) and will feature specs that include a 10-inch display (capacitive) with multitouch and comes loaded with a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 T20 chip, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16 Gigs of storage space, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI out. They’ll also be launching higher-end models of the Interpad with GPS a camera and 3G. The Interpad without the frills is priced at about €399 which works out to about $518. That puts a little pressure on the wallet, but I say we wait and see what the Germans say about it after it’s out later in the year.
