Straight from Japan is the G-Dog a DIY robotic dog. The kit comes complete with seven motors, RPU-11 controlling unit, 7.2 V battery, software for motion programming and an AC adapter. The external casing is made from resin and the unit comes with 3 axial acceleration sensor. Pricing and availability of the G-Dog is not known. A little bit of touchup from a professional model artist and the G-Dog will surely give you the creeps.
